Bahá’u’lláh: 200 Years of Light
What it’s all about
Across Canada, Bahá’ís this year celebrated a significant anniversary in the history of the Bahá’í Faith. It is the bicentenary of the birth of Bahá’u’lláh, the Prophet and Founder of the Bahá’í Faith. Around the world Baha’is revere this most recent of history’s Messengers from God as the One whose purpose and teachings advance the oneness of humanity and offer a foundation for humanity to achieve collective maturity and wholeness.
In Edmonton, this historic occasion was celebrated with both a gala musical and dramatic evening and a collection of diverse events that took place throughout the city on the weekend of October 21-22.
